I hope you are keeping well.
Government Covid 19 restrictions made it impossible to plan and hold our Annual General Meeting last year but I am pleased to inform you that Committee have decided to tentatively book an Annual General Meeting to be held at the Ballroom, White Hart Hotel in Launceston at 7.30pm Thursday 27th January 2022.This meeting will follow whatever government edicts regarding Covid 19 are in force at the time. Refreshments will be available at the hotel bar.
As we have not had an AGM for two years there will be a fair amount of business to go through including previous minutes, approval of 2 years association accounts and election of the full Committee. The majority of the Committee intend to stand for re-election but LAA does have two vacancies to fill – one for a member to provide general secretarial support to the Chairman, Treasurer and Membership Secretary and one to help oversee and organise beat maintenance. Full support and training will be given to whoever wishes to accept these interesting and rewarding roles.

Your Committee has also reviewed the Association’s constitution; you will find this has been updated and the new draft can now be viewed here on together with current (old) constitution here. This will be put to voted adoption at the AGM.
