Due to persistent bad weather, spates and flood flows since the beginning of the year annual bank access and ladder surveys with resulting repairs have been unable to be completed. This means that due to high winter flows, access points and ladders to fishing points on the river may have been damaged or undermined and rendered unsafe.
Meanwhile all LAA members should access the river with extreme caution and care.
When lower flows allow LAA volunteers will attempt repairs and reinstatement of these accesses but this may take several weeks depending on river levels.
