Launceston Anglers Association was saddened to hear of Stuarts passing recently this month (August). We offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to his family.

Stuart was a keen salmon and trout fisherman and a supportive member of the Association for over fifty years . He also spent many years helping to conserve our rivers starting in 1969 as Deputy Fisheries Officer with Cornwall River Authority through to more senior area positions with South West Water Authority, the National Rivers Authority and then the Environment Agency.

We remember Stuart as an inspiration to us all, being a great fisherman, a loyal member of Launceston Anglers Association and caring for our rivers over many, many years.”
