We wish to thank all those willing members who have, on their own or in small groups, turned out over the past two seasons working within covid restrictions to trim branches, clear, fix and install stiles and ladders and help with ongoing bank maintenance. With the Covid restrictions lifting LAA can now resume larger work parties of members to maintain access to our waters. We therefore propose the following dates for beat maintenance for members to join together and give a helping hand:
Start Time 10.00 AM – all dates are Sundays and are subject to weather and river levels.
Should conditions prevent a day going ahead the following Sunday will replace the lost day be default, hence the roster below will be the first and third Sunday in each month with any following Sunday left as reserve replacement day.
All dates are provisional due to conditions and potential Covid restrictions. Please check the LAA website the day before for to confirm if the day is going ahead. Bring hand tools, saws, loppers etc. No chainsaws please – our liability insurance does not cover these.
